Our recruitment process is simple and welcoming. Interested volunteers fill out our online Google Form — accessible via the 'Get Involved' page. Once submitted, our recruitment team reviews your application and contacts you within 48 hours. You'll then attend a brief orientation session at Liaquat Bagh or join a remote onboarding call (for remote roles). No prior teaching experience is required; passion and commitment are all we ask for.

We enroll underprivileged children from the surrounding communities of Liaquat Bagh, Rawalpindi. Our coordinators conduct community outreach to identify children who lack access to formal education. Parents or guardians are invited to a brief orientation session, after which children undergo a simple learning-level assessment. Based on the assessment, each child is placed into an appropriate teaching group to ensure personalized learning.

Absolutely! We encourage community members, potential volunteers, and supporters to visit our outdoor camp at Liaquat Bagh, Rawalpindi. Classes are held outdoors in the park, so visitors are welcome to observe sessions respectfully. We only ask that you reach out via WhatsApp (+92 315 689 1010) or email (info@saws.org.pk) beforehand so we can properly welcome you and ensure a smooth visit.

SAWS holds daily teaching sessions Monday through Saturday. Each session runs for approximately two hours. Multiple teaching groups are organized simultaneously, ensuring that each child receives focused attention from a dedicated volunteer teacher. There is no class on Sundays, allowing volunteers and students to rest and recharge.

The camp operates on a seasonal schedule to ensure comfort for both students and volunteers:

• Summer Timings: 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM (April to September)

• Winter Timings: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM (October to March)

These timings are designed to avoid extreme heat in summer and to take advantage of the longer daylight hours in winter afternoons. Please check with us before visiting as timings may occasionally adjust around public holidays.

Our outdoor teaching camp is located inside Liaquat Bagh Park, Rawalpindi — one of the most well-known public parks in the city. The camp is set up in the open-air section near the main park grounds. When you enter the park, follow the open grassy areas and look for our SAWS setup with students seated in teaching groups.
